We accept the diversity of all employees and respect the human rights of all people involved in our business.

1. Scope of Application

This policy applies to all officers and employees of Kumagaigumi Group.(Kumagaigumi and consolidated subsidiaries). We require business partners, suppliers and other stakeholders of us to consent this policy, respect human rights, and not to infringe them.

2. Respecting and Complying with Standards and Laws and Regulations

Kumagaigumi Group consent and respect international law and regulation about human rights, such as “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, “International Bill of Human Rights”, “the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work”, “OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises”, “The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact”, “United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”.
This policy is based on "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights" for UN.
We also comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the countries and regions in which we operate, and if the laws and regulations of each country or region differ from international norms, we will give priority to higher standards.

3. Respect of human right through the whole of business activity

Kumagaigumi Group don't infringe on the human rights of others, prevent negative impacts on human rights that may occur through business activities, and we will carry out our responsibility to respect human rights.

With regard to all officers, employees and other stakeholders of us, we respect their fundamental human rights, personalities, characteristics, and diversity, and we prohibit any and all discrimination, harassment and unfair treatment at workplace on the ground of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, age, religion, place of origin, disabilities, or physical characteristics. We do not permit any type of child labor or forced labor and we will not be involved in human rights infringement.

If we provoke negative impact about human rights, or revealed to take part in it, we address to Remedy and Rectification by appropriate methods.
In addition, if business partners, suppliers and other stakeholders of us also provoke negative impact, we require them to Remedy and Rectification, and we work together to improve.

6. Education and Training

Kumagaigumi Group integrates the Policy into all necessary procedures to ensure the Policy.
We also provide appropriate education and training to all officers and employees to ensure that they sufficiently understand the Policy.
