Kumagai Gumi is focusing on introducing renewable electric energy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. At the same time, we are working to reduce CO2 emitted from diesel oil during the operation of heavy machinery and vehicles through the practical application of new technologies and streamlining of construction work. If there is a shortfall in our reduction performance, we plan to use emissions trading and other methods to achieve carbon neutrality.

• We've been maintaining to join to the RE100 initiative, and SBT certification.
• It is going to shift to renewable energy from all energy we use business activity.
• We are working to reduce CO2 emitted from the fuel saving operation of heavy machinery and vehicles, utilize of renewable energy.
• We reduce CO2 emissions throughout the product lifecycle by utilizing ZEB and energy-saving technologies.
• We contribute to CO2 emissions by promoting wooden construction, renewable energy, and forest conservation projects.
• We will contribute to the resilience of the nation with technologies such as unmanned construction against disasters that are becoming more severe due to global warming.
• We will quantitatively grasp the CO2 reduction effect and provide information to stakeholders.
